Repeat prescriptions

health_tech1Repeat prescriptions for regular medication can be obtained without seeing the Doctors, providing it has been agreed by them. You will be asked to speak to the Doctors to review your medication from time to time. When you collect your medication you will be given a printout of your regular repeat prescriptions to assist you when re-ordering. Please retain this list. To re-order, tick the items you require and post it back to the Surgery.

Alternatively you can leave it in the box in Reception or fax it to 01285 831679 making sure it is legible. These written requests minimise the risk of mistakes but if none of these methods are convenient you may telephone the Surgery (01285 831784 with your request, but please leave it until after 12 midday.

You may also order using EMIS Access if you are registered (find out more here).

We require two working days’ notice for repeat medication as we only hold limited stocks on our shelves and usually have to order for delivery the following day. If you have to pay for prescriptions please ensure you have means of paying when you collect your medication. We accept cheques or cash but are not able to take card payments at present.

If you require medication urgently and the surgery is not open, then please telephone the OUT OF HOURS SERVICE on 08454 220220
